Before Dragon Gate: Gamma entered pro wrestling in the Michinoku Pro Wrestling system. He and K-ness were rookies at the same time, and remained best friends. He left wrestling in 1997 to become a salaryman. He resurfaced in1999, joining Osaka Pro. He became Gamma in 2001. He remained with Osaka under various characters until early 2005. He returned to MPro for a brief period, aiding in the heel turn of Toryumon graduates Shu and Kei Sato. He also appeared on the last dragondoor shows, before jumping to Dragon Gate.
2006: Joins Blood Generation as Magnitude Kishiwadas' replacement, while Kishiwada was injured. Immediately tempers flared with CIMA, which lead to the eventual BloodGen split and Muscle Outlaw'z formation. His rivalry with CIMA raged on, including a win in a Hair vs. Hair match. This lead Gamma to prclaim himself the new ace of Dragon Gate.
2007: The feud with CIMA rages on. A loss in yet another hair vs. hair match, this time a tag with MO'z referee Kinta Tomaka vs. CIMA and Dragon Kid leads to an MO'z banishment match between the 2. Kinta wins, with assistance from the rest of MO'z. Gamma was banished from the group and the following day had his contract annulled by Dragon Gate. It lasted under a month, as at the end of October he returned to both DG and MO'z. He won King of Gate 2007, after a low blow in the finals left CIMA unable to continue the match. Whether or not this was the intended finish to the match is not known.

The feud with CIMA finally came to an end in 2008, after a decisive loss. He ended up winning the Brave Gate, but quickly trashed the 8 pieces on the belt face. Instead he put a new plate on it, renaming the belt to the Open the Gamma Gate. He failed to recruit CIMA for MO'z, but did succeed in conspiring with Shingo to form Real Hazard.
